Stanley Newcomb Kenton (December 15, 1911 - August 25, 1979), was an American jazz pianist, and bandleader known for his innovations in jazz music.

Origins

He was natural around Wichita, Kansas, but raised in California. He learned piano as a kid & toured sustaining various elastic around his teens. Inside 1941 he formed his own b& and reached a height of his popularity by 1953. He utilized anywhere from either 19 to 23 musicians at one time inside his elastic.

Music
